Presentations of the seminar: New systems for scientific evaluation, peer-review and open access
In the International Open Access Week 2014, DIGITAL.CSIC organized a seminar about “New systems for scientific evaluation, peer review and open access” to discuss how ongoing transformations in scholarly communications and open access policies are redefining research assessment systems and impact indicators. It had as speakers from the funder (European Commission), publishing (BMC) and researcher communities (Open Scholar, CSIC researchers) to be able to have the fullest possible picture about the many issues at stake.
There was a lively debate with the audience and the presentations are already available at the event’s web site.
Many issues were discussed and it is collected the most prominent ones at http://digital.csic.es/handle/10261/104030 (in Spanish only thus far)
