Professor Geoffrey Boulton is an international leader in the open science movement. He is is Regius Professor of Geology and Vice Principal Emeritus at the University of Edinburgh, the lead author on “Science as an open enterprise", president of CoDATA (International Council for Science : Committee on Data for Science and Technology) and shares his own research as a glaciologist.
